Extruded Nylon
Our general-purpose grade of extruded Nylon offers an excellent blend of mechanical and impact strength, vibration damping and wear resistance. Complimenting these properties are good electrical insulation and chemical resistance. It is well suited for machining on automatic and CNC lathes.
Specific properties of Extruded Nylon include better creep resistance however the impact strength and mechanical damping ability are reduced.
Extruded Nylon is available in sheets, rods, tubes, tapes and rolls and is used for a wide range of industrial components both for Original Equipment Manufacturers and maintenance. Some examples include wheels, conveyor rollers, sleeves for wheels and rollers, cams, insulators, sealing rings, flanges, sleeves, impact rollers, feed screws, main body of industrial and conveyor brushes, spacers, washers and gaskets.
