PVDF (PolyVinyiDene Fluoride)
PVDF is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic, which is characterised by its high resistance to stress cracking, chemical stability and dimensional stability. The very low absorbency of water allows unlimited use in liquids. PVDF is applicable within a temperature range from -40° to + 160°C. The BfR-/FDA approval assures physiological safety. PVDF-plastics are often used as pump covers, flanges or valve bodies. PVDF is available in the colour natural.
